"National" represents the sum of all states and territories and the Australian Government.
In 2024 the tables Governments’ contributions by jurisdiction and Funding allocation by jurisdiction introduced new reporting lines to include additional Australian Government funding to states and territories under the new National Skills Agreement (NSA).
Flexible funding replaced specific purpose payments (SSP).
Milestone based funding replaced time limited funding.
Flexible funding includes SSP funding, Cap 1 and Cap 2 funding under the NSA.
Milestone based funding includes National Partnership Agreement and Project funding, plus NSA policy initiative funding.
In 2024, the Trade Support Loans Program was renamed to the Australian Apprenticeship Support Loans Program.
